being married

 i guess being married has lots of 'advantages' for women especially if u r in teaching profession
1st, u dun have to involve much with sports, clubs or co-curricular activities.there r single people to do that
2nd, u won't be assigned for night duty whenever there are camping or camps which required students to stay overnight..there r single people who wud be more than happy to spend the night there
these are the top two items taken from the i-am-married-so-i-cant-do-it list

i honestly had expected this even before i got the posting.but, it sometimes irked me that the same thing is happening over and over again and even in different schools..maybe, the word 'reasonable' was long forgotten by some people,huh?

i guess i also need to get married asap ;-0

new year

another new year, another resolution
i guess the two really come in one package haha
i haven't think of anything yet but maybe, just maybe for this year

• i want to be more diligent, more creative and more dedicated in my teaching
• write and carry out an action research.zero progress at the moment but am hoping to come out with a title soon
• get a boyfriend hahaha..i am getting old..on the 2nd thought,maybe i shud put this as the first =)

keeping my sanity

while it is a bliss that i got posted near home, i can't help but felt burdened teaching in this school
colleagues are nice, admins are fine, canteen food is ok but the students are well...to say the least challenging & difficult

what makes things worse is that i'm teaching math..how awesome is that,huh?
 while struggling to come out with best method to convey unfamiliar concepts, i've to deal with their behaviours at the same time 
silent treatment? check! did that & happily shred it into pieces and threw it away
persuasion? check! delightedly joined silent treatment somewhere
scolding? check! worked to the tiniest extent
extra scolding & yelling? check! managed to keep them behaved for a good 5 minutes
punishment? semi-check! avoiding this as much as possible minus standing in the c/room of course if that is considered as one

enough of ranting for today..may tomorrows be better days.out.

Got my posting letter today though it had been no surprise anymore bout the state I was posted to.
As far as I was delighted that I got Ganu, I couldn’t help but felt worried bout the school
I honestly and desperately hoped that I won’t be back to my alma mater as a teacher *fingers crossed*
I had great memories as STUDENT in that school; dun want to add to them any memory more let alone memory as TEACHER though it doesn’t necessarily bad
Maybe someday, but definitely not now *sigh*

hello again

I am as close as one step away from completely forgotten that I have a blog which metaphorically crying out loud for an update.

I come to realization that it has been about 7 months since I last updated it and to commemorate this uneventful moment, I reckon a quick ‘hello’ to my non-existent reader won’t hurt.

To sum things up, in this past 7 months I’ve been caught up in

• studying diligently (not that I purposely wanted to, but it happened)
• catching up with family and friends
• re-adapting to the semi-new environment
• and the most awaited practicum which I successfully survived for the first month *yay*

As this quick update comes to an end, hopefully I don’t have to wait another 7 months to come out with new tidbits
